About Classic Designs
Our company started in January 1996. It started as a summer preoccupation, but quickly became a passion and eventually the primary occupation of our founder, Shawn Miller.
We are now one of the more tenured contractors for residential decks and patios in the Colorado Metro area. Our work ethic, designs, and craftsmanship has won over hundreds of Denver homeowners, and we continue to live up to the expectations of both our new and loyal clients.

Classic Designs has grown with the local deck industry. In the earlier years, decks were merely tacked onto the backs of most Denver homes — exterior spaces that were often left to gather leaves and twigs and would fall into disrepair. We have witnessed the evolution of how residents regard outdoor spaces and how decks progressed from being “an extra space” into a full-fledged “living space.”
Classic Designs transformed alongside this development, and we became innovators who deliver beyond what’s expected.
